Kind of the way things are for me here where I work.
But, on a good note, did find out the dude that rear ended me does have insurance coverage afterall, and that his company has accepted liability for the damages and that the claims are in their 'payment review department.' Said I should be getting back my $500 deductible, medical bills paid, and I'm working on a rental still. We shall see.
Body shop said car is still at least two weeks out, but it's rolling along.
