Hood was $1200, front and rear bumpers close to $500 each, both complete headlight assemblies those cost a ton, new exhaust - that was $650, front support underneath bumper another hundred or more, then another support piece for the back end, still another hundred or more, hood hinges, miscellaneous other stuff including some aftermarket stuff I'd done, and then shipping charges for everything (hood alone was $250), plus paint, and labor ($42 per hour for a few hours). Initial check was for around $6,400 and a few things have been added since then to cause them to write a supplement. It all adds up! Especially those shipping charges and body/paint labor time, and sales tax at 8%. You must have never wrecked a vette before? This is my second bad one in this vette. |
