Need to come to work to recuperate from the weekend. LOL My car made the trip great. It runs like a raped ape from 2000 and above. I need to get my gears and converter installed to get back the bottom. It will smoke the tires from a standing stop (no power braking either), something it would never do before with the old engine and 2.59 gears. I can't imagine what it will do with gears and TQC. OMG!!! Oh - yeh I forgot to mention - Second gear may be toasted. On the way home if I manually shifted into second it would slip until about 3000 rpm and then grab. However, if I let it shift itself from D, it seemed ok. Maybe a fluid and filter change. We'll see.. I'm not too worried about it at the moment and will get to it next. Also, it sounds great and I noticed the sound changed after a few hundred miles. I got a few photos I'll post in another thread. Have a good day. |
