Yeah, it was not about race. But all of the TV coverage was all about race. The first black president... historic moment... interviews with any and every black they could find. The not so subtle subtext was: "This will make up for slavery." It won't. The victims will remain victims, because they want to use victimhood. I had nothing to do with slavery. So, I don't feel a need to make up for it. What this is really about is electing a inexperienced, racist, socialist. Obama is each of those, and it's easily proven. Acorn leaders will be invited to the White House in the first 100 days to help "set the agenda", that's an Obama promise. Get ready for: - Stricter gun laws. - Fairness doctrine. - Expanded affirmative action (I know he said it's over, but he lies). - Increased taxes on middle class and up. Allowing the Bush cuts to expire will raise taxes, and Obama can claim he didn't do it. The number floated down as low as $120k, I think it will go lower. - Increased minimum wage, which will fuel inflation, and cause the economy to shed lower level jobs. - Increased unionization with with "card check", (no secret ballot for union votes). BTW, Hoover, an inept Republican, (Bush?), drove the country into the crash in '29. Contrary to what Joe Biden says, it was Hoover, not FDR who was president then. FDR took over an ailing economy and promptly rolled out the New Deal, which had a host of taxes, and unionization provisions. Historians now believe the crash of '29 was deepened and lengthened by FDR's economic policies. We could ride out Obama with a Republican Congress. Obama, Reid and Pelosi will be tragic for America. |
