I really wanted to be an educated voter and not just vote a party ticket. I saw a lot of contradiction and more McCain mudslinging. Nothing of any substance regarding the HOW, no matter how deep I dug. Here are my two questions: 1. If Obama is going to attack "big business" with tax hikes, how does he propose to keep jobs in North America? As soon as it's too difficult for business to stay here they'll leave in even bigger droves...doesn't anyone see that the jobs go, too? 2. The next item up is attacking "big oil." And we're also going to investigate alternative fuels as another way to stick it to "big oil." Doesn't anyone realize that the oil companies are funding the highest level of alternative fuel research? They're not stupid. They know that they need to expand their reach into energy as a commodity, not only oil. And I loved how he painted McCain's abortion views...it sounded like if you voted for McCain he would personally come to your house, rape your wife and daughter, and make them keep the baby. |
