I did a full re-work on the targa top for the vette, and I imagine it's a little different for a fixed roof. There's a few pics here http://www.corvetteforums.com/m_37755/tm.htm of removal of the material with a nylon spatula, and some other stuff. I put in the new felt (pretty heavy stuff, compared to the original material), and used cove base glue - a pretty thick layer of the stuff, and light hand pressure, so it wouldn't come through the material. http://www.corvetteforums.com/m_38731/tm.htm |
