Subject: Re: Oil $43 and change, Gas under $1? by CentralCoaster on 2008/12/5 17:47:25 I'm kinda sad really, I never made it to $100 on a fillup. The most was about $94 for my truck. Now what OPEC needs to do, is overproduce, run the price into the ground for 5 years to make sure development of alternative fuels is nowhere near economically viable. Then, they can have another gas embargo to keep the cycle going. If gas stays expensive for too long, people will eventually find another tit to suckle on, and OPEC won't be so popular anymore. |
