Well, I found a roofer, sign the contract tomorrow. He's almost $4k less than the first guy, as were the other 2 bidders. I thought the first guy was a straight shooter, he has a good reputation, but seems he didn't want the job. So, it's going to cost $7500. I'm going to keep the Vette, as I can scrape the $7500 up without selling it. But, it does mean no tranny rebuild like I was planning this year. I just hope nothing else blows up on the Vette! |
