Subject: Re: Mustang boneyard.. by Danspeed1 on 2008/12/11 3:24:23 This guy that lived by me had a big yard, and in this yard he had about 50-60 cars of various makes and models from the 1920's all the way through the very early 50's. When I was a kid we used to ride by the place all the time. I watched those cars rot for most of my younger life. My father had told me those cars had been there since the late 70's. When I got my license I drove over there to speak with the old man (I think he was like 94 when I was 16). He wouldn't part with a single one of them, no how, no way. Since then we moved. My uncle still lives down there. Told me the old man finally passed away. His only living relatives came and sold the property, cars and all. The builder, who is putting condo's on the plot of land had all the cars pulled the the junk yards and crushed. Nice right? DG |
