I do remember seeing that test pattern. It was for channel 6 in Philadelphia. I think the first show to come on Saturday morning was Birdie the Bunyup. It was a puppet show, staring Birdie. I have no idea what a Bunyup is/was, kind of looked like a dog. His nemesis was Sir Guy T Guy.
