I think you're probably more likely to get stray laser hits as it reflects off other cars, buildings, etc. Same for radar, although radar spreads more. I've picked up radar hits from 2 miles away on a twisty highway, completely out of sight. A cop can't get a reading from that. My beef with the V1 is the damn backup sensors on the new SUVs set it off. |
