Subject: Re: TAXES: What software are you using to file your 1040? by skirlin on 2009/1/27 13:15:06 We used to have the free tax work done by the irs office here but they have an income limit and we evidently made too much, nice program where they do your taxes then set up direct deposit or mail it to you, all free. Well, we then started using Taxslayer (last six years). They do all the paperwork for fed and state. Then if you want to mail it just transfer the numbers to the appropriate tax forms and send or if you want it fast give them $20 and they efile it and it will be in your account 7-10 business days (they will tell you the IRS's direct deposit schedule) but here in Michigan it may take longer for the State to give up the funds. I have no problems with them. My 2 cents. |
