Is it still Saturday? At least for a little while yet here on the East coast.

I have been gone almost all day doing a little of everything, but the biggie was buying my wife a new car.

We traded in my '05 Toyota Matrix for a new Chevy Malibu LTZ this morning. We have been looking around for another sedan that gets good mileage, looks good and drives nice. We compared with the Camry mostly and chose the Malibu, plus I got a very good deal from my sponsoring Corvette Club dealership. (I know you all will snicker about this, but I feel they really went wayyyy out of their way on this deal) so I was happy with it.

After we picked up the car, it was only fitting to drive it all over hell and back to check it out real good, so we just got back in this evening.

I now get to drive the 2003 Nissan Xterra full time. That was hers until today. It gets pretty bad gas mileage, around 17-18mpg. That's one of the biggest reasons she wanted a new car. She needed a car that got better gas mileage and that was an automatic. So the Matrix had to go because she pussed out and didn't want to learn how to drive a stick.

Anyhow, I'll snap a few photos tomorrow when the sun is shining to show you guys the new wheels.
