Subject: Im getting plastic surgery Monday by NC Kid on 2009/3/4 21:48:10 7:30 am Monday, I am getting otoplasty. My ears protrude. Decided to get them reshaped and pinned back. Hopefully get pics up. No insurance does not cover it. I have talked it over with my parents, they agreed to it. I will be breathing on my own during the anesthesia(sp). Takes about 1 1/2 hours. Im pretty nervous and scared about death. The surgeon has beein doing surgery for over 15 years. Has the highest degree, very nice, great staff, and talked with me for a good 20 minutes going over why i wanted to do it and he told me on the spot, if you are doing this for someone else other than yourself, please leave. I said nope, it's all for me. I don't like the way they look so we got the date and wow, hehe, im excited and scared. They got all these machines I am going to be hooked up to so if something goes wrong, they will no it righ then. Wants a follow up the next day, and told me he will continue to follow up with me for several months and if I am not satisfied, he will do more surgery until I am pleased with it. I get a IV of anthestesia...Ummm...Registered nurse, surgeon, few staff members. It will be performed in his office in a approved Operating suite. I saw it, looks nice. :-) Hope everything turns out. If I don't log back in ever again, theres a reason...haha. Hope that does not happen though. |
