Being a life time renter I have found home ownership to be akin to walking a tight rope without a net, no landlord to call when things go south. Oh well, I still love being a homeowner. Our Power company came through and exercised their god-like powers and removed half of our maple tree in our front lawn, said it was too close to their power lines. Looked like hell  so we had a tree removal company come over and remove the rest. It was 32" at the base. Today the stump grinding guy came over and finished the job. Loud and messy, more work to be done. My son made a comment on the fact that the grinder dude looks like Abe Lincoln, and he does. Other than that it has been a beautiful day here reaching almost 70, yes. Spring is coming  . Have a good one. Dave. |
