I hate all the cr@p, but that's the way the administration justifies my program and how they take care of about 1/3 of my salary, so I guess I have to do it....for one more year. Granite countertops are really nice, but they are a b!tch if you have to make changes down the road. Solid surface tops like Corian are a bit easier to work with, but don't have the same feel. If you want (or have) to change appliances, take your measurements when you go to buy, as it is much cheaper to buy something that fits rather than having to get someone out to "modify" a granite one. Maybe it's not as much of an issue if you live near larger cities or metropolitan areas, but in my neck of the woods...desert, sorry, it's quite an ordeal to find someone to come out and work with granite. Generally speaking it's a 4 hour drive for someone to come out from Wichita, Amarillo, or Colorado Springs. Come to think about it, that's what I like about living here, four hours in any direction and you can get/see/do just about anything you want/need. Matt, why don't you just take it in and get it aligned properly? |
