Subject: T Bucket Build ? by JDSWHITE93 on 2009/9/6 23:18:33 I REALLY REALLY want a t-bucket.... There isn't alot of information on the net at least not that I can find. So if anyone knows of a good site for information that would be helpful. Personal experience would be even better. 1. How much do they weigh with a sbc and an automatic ? 2. With question # 1 in mind how much power would one need to go mid 10s or better ? If I'm gonna BUILD a hotrod I want it to be FAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. It seems these things are built with more WOW factor in mind with multiple carbs, some with twin superchargers and blah blah I'm thinking a 450chp single carbed s.b.c. would be plenty with a 3.73 rear gear and a 700R4. The plan is to build my own from a basic kit. No ridiculous amounts of chrome, no candy show paint job I want to drive the mess out of it. Thoughts ? |
