Cordless drills have a tendency to p!ss me off. The batteries should last longer than they do. I hope that the Li-on batteries are a better design. I have 4 good cordless drills at home that are basically worthless, because the batteries are bad and unavailable from the suppliers. Bill you say you have yours rebuilt? I'd be interested in your source.

Last time I pad $55-60 for 2, 18v. Ryobi battery rebuilds.
They lasted 3 years, still work half ass.

Like I said, for the price of the Rockwell Li-on with batteries for life, I'm basically at the Rockwell price using & rebuilding Ryobis at 10 years.

Bill, they rebuild the batteries? So, if I took mine in they would rebuild them? They darn sure don't have the replacements on hand for my drill. I did buy a couple of batteries from them for my DeWalt drill at school. I was disappointed with their performance, within a year they were like the original ones.
