hm... never seen a really dry one... what am I doing wrong with install?

Donno, and I can't take the credit for an expert install on my rear one.
At 80k, when I pulled the oil pan, obviously the bell hsg.cover had yo come off. The back of the flywheel and the rear of the block were totally dry (I was supprised but happy).
The front was replaced 10k ago w/o pulling the front cover and had no leak when I pulled the opti the other week, so I can take credit for that one but, it's that's only 10k.
