Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

Re: Who makes the best replacement seats?

I had my seats done by Al Knoch back in 2002 or 2003 time frame. Overall I was very happy with the leather work and stitching has been good over time. However I was disappointed that the drivers seat bolster wore through at the wire support after only a few years and less than 25k miles of driving. I don't know if this was their fault or not. It cost too much to ship the seat back for repair so I had it fixed at a local shop I really like. Next time I'll have the seats re-done locally and save a few bucks.
Al Knoch will cost at least a grand for the two seats. Foam is extra.
With this said, I have lots of friends that have had Al Knoch seats and convertible tops that love the work that he has done for them.
