When I bought my 92, I didn't test 10 cars... there simply weren't that many 6spds in my area to test! I drove from Cherry Hill, NJ to Hopewell, VA in my search. The first car I went to was in Hopewell, VA. For those not knowing VA, it is well south of Richmond, VA. Closer to NC, really. The car was just not right. The details were not there... the undercarrage was oily... the headlite buckets not washed... the power antenna broken... and the killer? The Odo was 3k miles off! The girl had a loan on it, and supposedly the bank was going to take like 4-6 weeks to release said title. VA banks are strange... I found a good looker in Miami, but the distance and miles on the car were more than I wanted to deal with. After getting home from Hopewell, I called a guy in the Cherry Hill area and he had a no stories 92... That's the one I ended up buying. 39k miles, 6spd in the colours I wanted. |
