Everything was going great (by email) until I tired to set up a time to go and look at the car.... Come to find out he also had the car on Ebay and it looks like it sold.... So I thought no problem, I've got a few back ups to go and look at. First there is another 82CE (also in MD) on CL for like $6900 and it looks decent, so I call the guy, leave a message on his machine, that I have cash and want to come and look at the car. For whatever reason the fellow won't to call me back.... Second there was a 78 on CL local to me. Went and checked it out.... What a DOG. Total turd of a car. Interior destroyed, motor leaking oil everywhere, running on 7cyls, body mount on the bird cage was completely filled with rust.... Definatly not as advertised. I told the guy I'd let him know. I hate these f'n people. Looks like I'm going to save up for a few months, see if I can get to where I can spend 10K without hassel and try for a nicer car... If something good comes up between now and then for $6500 or less I'm golden.... Will |
