Subject: Grand Sport finds a new home..... by Ultraman on 2012/8/24 20:15:45 ....and likes it...Had a good trip down to Nebraska City and it rained and misted on us as we went but had cleared up a bit by the time we made it to NC. They had unloaded the car and had it sitting out when I first saw it...and it was so.....(sniff)...beautiful sitting there....my friend just said....Wow....I said, no kidding..... It is so wide and low and the back tires are like 18" wide and the wheels are so cool with that Silver paint. I gave it a quick look and then jumped in to start it up....oops gotta have the clutch in, then push the button and the LS3 spoke to me through the Corsas....it is the full cat back system with the built in X pipe...and I can't even describe how good they sound....great burble when you shift.... So here we go for a little test drive....nuts, killed it...the truckers are looking at each other....ok let's try it again...much better this time.... take off and hit 2nd and a little more fuel and then 3rd and then 2nd by accident...what a rookie..geez....it's like riding a bike in a day or so I will be banging them out like the Guru Stig... Loaded it up in our trailer and got it home and in the shop just before it started to drizzle and rain here so it will sit until I figure out how to run it.....Not as much leg room as the C5 but very cool inside and out....more later..here is some pics that I got and they are not the best but I was busy, that was one of the haulers in the first pic who helped us load it. I will use the good camera to take some when the sun comes back out....I like it a lot....    and you thought the C5 had an ample rear end....  |
