Subject: Nebraska Corvettes Car Show pics..... by Ultraman on 2012/9/23 23:35:58 Perfect clear sunny day, about 70 degress. Over 100 Corvettes and estimated 4K people in attendance. I did not show my GS but think I will next year. May be a C7 on display next year...who knows? Corvette Museum made the 11 hour trip up to sell some cool stuff of which they sold a lot.....lots of fun...I am going to get a new smart phone so the pics will be better next year.... I love a guy who runs wheel flairs on his BB....   These two cars had crowds around them all day...the guy who owns the 67 clone also has a 63 Split done the same way and its the same color. The work was excellent but I prefer the Resto-Mods like the one that Bill was showing the other day. The C1 is on a C5 frame and the 67 on an 08 C6. They are done over in Iowa and the owner said there are brand new C6's with the window stickers still on them all tore apart and the new body kits being installed....hmmmmm.      This car was getting a lot of looks also...25th anniversary Callaway...125,000 Large.   Most unusual license plate....  Just something Bad ass about a Black Z06...  I thought about Bill when I saw this....  There were about 6 or 7 Sandhill Open Road cars there.  |
