IN VEHICLES WITHOUT ELECTRIC COOLING FANS THIS IS CORRECT BRIAN...HOWEVER IN YOUR CAR WHN THE A/C IS TURNED ON IT ALSO KICKS FANS ON TO HELP MAINTAIN A COOLER ENGINE TEMP DUE TO THE ADDED A/C LOAD
