Re: Why did you buy your C4?

Subject: Re: Why did you buy your C4?

I bought my 92 cause I wanted a daily driver. There was never a question in my mind on what to buy. I never really liked the C5's especially the seats and cockpit feel.
The 92 is Vette # 7 for me.

If you're going to get one, take your time. I looked at 25 or more cars before I bought this one. There's a bunch of C4's out there that have been very well cared for.
In 4 years the only thing I've done to the car is replaced the opti. No oil leaks, no squeeks or rattles, no problems.
If you can find one owned by a "Corvette Person" , one that's been garaged, taken care of, has no significant mods that costs a few dollars more, you'll be ahead of the game.
If you want to mod it after you get it, you'll have a good starting point. If you but one off a carlot, you may have to spend a lot of your time and money just fixing things.
