Subject: Re: New Gas tank.... by brut on 2008/6/15 2:05:14 Well.... Got the new tank in...what a pain in the azz!!!! Even though it was light it was a pain getting it centered just right and getting the straps around it correctly. The other thing was the bolts that hold the crossmember on(I removed it to get the tank out)go through the inside of the frame. SO, it was hard getting the crossmember back in place and putting the bolt in at the same time. But using a jack to hold it up, we finally got it. Still don't have a strainer yet. The sending unit goes in through the bottom so I was able to install the tank w/o it. Wilcox is going to let me in Monday to get one even though they are closed. |
