The Dana 36 was the smaller unit. It was used on all 1984 Corvettes, and all automatic Corvettes thru 1996...

...the market for 1984 Z51 4+3 cars is pretty well satisfied by cars massively nicer than this one.

no question, but if one was to preserve an 84, this is the one to preserve.
