Subject: Re: It won't sell.... by BeachBum on 2008/11/23 23:30:12 A friend of mine trying to sell his truck had the exact same problem..... what he ended up doing was offering the buyers a payment schedule over a year or two, but only offered it to a local buyer who had a home..... he sold it in a single day. He sold the truck for his asking price of 8k and got paid $ 600 a month until paid off. He kept the title, but gave posession to the buyer.... thats all I know about the transaction. You don't get your money all at once, but you do get paid for it. I think your 92 is easily worth 6k.... even with the high miles. If you have a running LT-1, that isn't dumping a quart of oil every time you start it up.... it should be worth that much in my opinion. Then again, I think the Kelly Blue book would shed some light on it better than me. good luck ! |
