Re: How long have you owned your Corvette?

Since Nov. '04 ('95 ZF Polo/Tan 35k)
First vette (well, technically a '62 roadster for a few days in '74....long story/don't ask )

Bought it off EBay! Lied to, but made the best of it. Was supposed to be bone stock/mint condition/low mileage....only thing true was the mileage but needing paint and engine had been monkeyed with and missing every fourth body fastner throughout!....PISSED me off, but actually got more than what I paid for anyway.....so I did what every good Canadian boy would do: Pleasantly thanked him and drove it home from Texas.

Next year went racing and spun a rod bearing.....which I was ok with cause I wanted to rebuild it anyways. Eagle cast 383 now, which is (surprisingly) holding up to my abuse! (The last small block I built was in the late '70's) Looking forward to getting some good heads next and perhaps going forged and stroking larger.

My immediate project is tuning it. Bought the laptop and getting the cable....looking at DataMaster as the program. TJWong did a re-tune on the PCM but I need to datalog it and fuss it more. So I'll be asking for LOTS of advice from all you guys.
