Subject: Re: Oh damn..I am doing it anyway by brut on 2011/3/29 15:56:02 Honestly it looks the motor has been gone through before (recently mileage wise)...even though there was a lot of sludge on the OUTSIDE of the motor the inside was pretty damn clean and shows little wear. And, yes I am going to ask them to CC the heads if possible. I know they are low compression "smog" heads but would like to see 9:1 or 9.5:1 CR but not sure if it will be possible w/o decking the block. I measured the bore and it is still 4". On the heads the valves are 1.94 and 1.5. The pistons are stamped "L2256 STD"....not sure if they are stock or replacements? They have 4 valve reliefs in them. |
