Subject: Going to the dark side? by DaleD on 2012/1/26 18:52:27 I'm thinking about buying a new toy this spring. I'm looking around $15k, with some flex if needed. Anyway, I've noticed something. A used Mustang is much cheaper than a used Corvette of similar capabilities. Before you beat me up... I know, a Corvette costs more when new. A Mustang isn't as capable in terms of handling. I get it. But for an old fart like me, who likes to drive fast on occasion, but I'm not a racer, there seems to be more bang for the buck. People who are trying to sell Corvettes seem to be very proud of what they have. I guess I'm looking for input. I know there's something special about a Corvette that a Mustang doesn't have. But I can get a low mile, v8 Mustang GT vert with 45k for $13k, (or less). |
