In order I'll try NAPA, CARQUEST/O'REILLYs/Pep Boys and then Autozone/Advanced. Seems like Napa still tries to sell First Quality Parts, so does Carquest. I used to hit O'REILLYS first but over the last few years it seems like they are slipping into the AUTOZONE/ADVANCED level of quality. As for the lower tier autoparts sold by the big chains it seems like Tommyboy said it best; "They know all they sold you was a guaranteed piece of shit. If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. For your customers'-- for your daughter's sake, you might want to buy a quality product from me." |
