Andy is right. If you're looking for something that one day might be a collectible, and you're willing to let it sit and/or put a minimal amount of additional mileage on it, then that seems like a reasonable starting price for negotiation.

However, if you're looking for something to use and really enjoy, $10,500 (or thereabouts) could get you a lot more Corvette. And don't be afraid to take you're time finding one as there are a lot of deals out there...
