It has happened... again...

Subject: It has happened... again...

On my way to lunch, a Peterbilt rear-ended me at a stop light.

Thankfully, he was going REAL slow... he has stopped and was drifting up to the light, when he lost me in his blind spot - the hood!

Thud.

It has scuffed the rear bumper pretty good, but the main damage is a tear in the lower right portion of the bumper.

The driver is insured, and admitted to the accident.

No injuries; the truck was doing about 2mph.

Then again, the kinetic energy in an 18-wheeler at 2mph is staggering.

My Vette was only cosmetically damaged. I don't think that even the bumper impact absorbing material was hurt. Won't know for sure until the adjusters are done.

Time to call McJack's!!!
