Subject: RE:GM VKE1000 Keyless Entry System by CentralCoaster on 2008/2/29 16:26:10 jhammons, I'll whip out my 84 electrical manual and do some head scratching for you as soon as I get a chance. I just got mine off jackstands yesterday. We should be able to do all or most of the wiring right at the factory alarm module on the passenger side. I'll look at using relays to allow keyless locking+arming while the doors are already shut, this is something none of the other VKE1000 installs have accomplished, including mine. Also you can wire a 4th channel to work when unlock+lock are pushed simultaneously, if you have any creative ideas on what to control. I used my extra channel to control a latching relay which turns on the accessory circuit. |
