One thing to consider is that the '68 is the first year of the C3. There was some quality issues from the factory. And to top it all off, there are a lot of '68 specific parts(like the push button doors). However there are some faithful '68 owners out there that absolutely love them.

As you probably know, its the same chassis thats in your '67. Not a stellar performer by any means. Its a rough ride, don't handle too well and the car is heavy. One of the biggest enemies of any year C3 is rust. The major area is the "birdcage". Water leaks horribly bad in these cars and sits and collects in the windshield frame and near the body mounts. It would be a deal breaker for me if I found this area rotted.

Even with all the above said, I have 2 C3s and I will never go back to anything else. Theres a feeling driving them and looking over the hood! They can be raw fast and they still impress the public regardless of how fast they are. People notice these cars, I think even more so than the early models.
