Subject: Re: C5 Brake upgrade by Matatk on 2008/4/5 6:16:05 I've heard the A-molds will clear it but the later sawblades won't. I know I test fitted my sawblades from my 89 and it barely cleared it. My aftermarket C6 repros fit with no issues. I have a picture of the brackets from cad that someone else did, but you'd need a machine shop to make them. You'll also need the little stuff such as brake fluid, banjo bolts, slide lube, and a bleeder can make the job easier. Some people use speed bleeders (I don't). BTW, why do you want the upgrade, from what I've read the 96's had good brakes already - better than earlier years? Matthew |
