Corrosion between the head and intake base can let coolant under pressure leak into the lifter valley and into the oil pan on L98s.

Common with iron heads. But if you have aluminum heads, I'd bet on a bad head gasket first. Do you have an oil cooler by chance? Maybe if you're lucky that's your source of coolant. Never seen it happen personally, but...
