i'm with him - pullapart and the internet. while i'm there pulling stuff for myself i have an eye out for stuff that can be resold for at least 2x what i pay for it. all intakes $23? so while there pull some PI ford ones and LT1 ones. all transmissions $43 - so i took half an hour and pulled a 4L80-E from a suburban.

i only fund the cars with car money, which is separate from what i make working. car money comes from parts deals, buying cars for parts and selling off the rest, and i toss my scrap into the car money as well, i get lots of copper, brass, and aluminum scrap in my line of work.

however, if the work truck needs fixed it comes out of my company money, and if i need a new daily driver or it needs snow tires or something it comes out of the $ i make working.
