Re: Just a crazy waste of money....

I think the ad said the only things left was paint and some re-assembly of various parts. With that said, its clear they ran out of money for the project considering they're trying to sell it un-finished, which makes no sense at all.

I think they should have completed the basics of the car such as engine/paint/driveline etc "before" investing 30k on an underhood muriel that is just goofy in the first place and close to 60k for a custom stereo/dvd/tv.... and 18k on base/clearcoast Protowork is just crazy...... could have a first class, completely finished show winning type paint job complete for that amount and still have change leftover for a European vacation.

Honestly, if they spent what they say they did on the car, not including the original cost of the car.... they could have bought a new 09 ZR-1 "and" a new 09 Z06...... which both are twice the car that is in all facets.

Oh well..... I just found it unbeleivable what people do with their money. But, I guess some could say the same about me considering I have recently spent over 10k on my C4.... and I'm not done and its all in the name of going faster, and I know many do not understand that need.
