Just doing what I do. Mowed nurseries this morning. Going to put up a 2' fence to try and keep the heron out of the Koi pond. A new approach to fend off my nemesis. Buddy the dog can sense when the heron is around and goes on high alert. Loves to run the heron off. Good boy Buddy. Sue is recovering from the spinal tap. She is doing better today and is up and about. I had a touch of the funk yesterday but feeling better today. Took some folic acid and vitamin B-12. Captain .... We need more power! Be well gurus and if not .... fake it.

Hello gurus.

Been busy. Tomorrow Sue goes for 3 spinal taps. Today I am cutting down some massive palm fronds. They have sharp thorns running up both sides all the way to the leaves. Fortunately I only got one bad stab through my gloves. We have been eating out with friends a lot lately. Eating and gambling are our two vices. What a life.

Hot and humid through October. Rainy season. Looking foward to late November. We've been working on legal stuff and fine tuning a contract on the nursery. Got our powers of attorney worked out an have to throw together a will. Have to see what will go where. It's difficult since the heir apparrent wants nothing. Sue and I will do our best to whittle it down but still there will be something left. Going to leave it to responsible family members a little here and a little there leaving out those that don't need it. Sonny boys stuff that has been ligering in my sheds is about to get the heave ho. I'll save his important documemnts but all else is fair game. Doing paperwork and some accounting today. Oh the joy.

Good morning - still summer here although since it's post labor day, the pumpkin spice season is upon us. If it's still 100 outside, it's summer, period.
Hope everyone had a good holiday, we took a last minute junk store trip to St. Louis, got home around 1030 last night. I'm still wore out.

...we got our first window AC in 1964... Sears unit.... we did not know life could be so good.... then in 65 Motorola color TV.... also in 64 a new Dodge Polara.... those were good years for the family.....

Good morning Gris,
Stay inside today, will be 106 or something we're told. I got in at 9 and it was already too hot to be outside. I feel sorry for anyone having to be out in it. Got an approval for a trailer yesterday that should've came several days ago but he couldn't make up his mind, meanwhile trailer sitting here taking up space. Got a truck approval also, got 2 others installed. I had another corporate truck I was working on, under the assumption that they were committed to us, turns out they were just getting 'mockups' from several others then wanting to make up their minds. Sorry, we don't work for free. My 'mockups' are literally me doing the whole design the right way to start with, which takes a few hours, plus art, etc. I wrote her a nice letter explaining what I'd been told and that we already had a lot of time and effort into this and can not continue design work at this point and be at a loss, but if we can get a committment, we would love to complete this job. Got a reply back today that we are committed, and there should be more to do in the future, and she added on a ceramic coat application on top of that. Hope the rest of the day goes that smooth.
Arron has an infusion again tomorrow so fingers crossed that goes well.

Ya.... is hot here too.... I did give a bath to the C5 and a quick trip around the horn to dry it off..... 90 degrees will do that.... Ya Tommy a lot of folks finding out how nice Florida is and they are all moving there.... and hell its expensive everywhere.... do watcha gotta do Guru's
