C4 Factory Restoration:: Prepping For An NCRS Regional Judging

Closing the loop on this thread, because I can leave no question unanswered. There were 31 cars flight judged:

3 solid axles

13 mid-years

7 sharks

6 C4s

2 C5s

There were also 10 performance verifications (2 solid axles, 4 mid-years, 2 sharks, and 2 C4s).

Plus the usually ancillary display cars, etc.—probably about 45 cars on the show floor.

Check vette2vette.com.

Also check Mid America, and that type of Corvette vendor.

Always ebay, never know what you will find.

I have this horn, kinda... I can't find exactly mine, but this is real close!

http://www.amazon.com/9milelake-Truck ... words=automotive+air+horn

I have one, but would like to do another. Just to add loudness...

Hella makes these that look like real good OEM replacements:

http://www.amazon.com/HELLA-003399801 ... words=automotive+air+horn

Ok. So the hoses exiting the heater core are hot? That indicates no blockage in the heater core. What I would do next is verify that the blend door is opening. You can do that by removing the blower control module from the top of the heater core box in the engine bay and shine a flashlight in there.

Also, if you did work in there before make sure everything is connected properly.

I recommend Spicer for u joints. I have an old thread called c4 common part numbers you can search for that lists them.

As far as the wheel bearings, I think there are a few after markets available. Look for ac delco / gm if you can find them, otherwise timken.
