Yeah I hear you....he is assuming someone will take this car and restore it with a correct type engine and have a big block car because he believes it to be an original big block car...which it may be. So his thinking is anything BB is worth a ton......I like that green car......

I'll do the engine/trans if I ever sell the trailer.
I looked at pricing from the machine shop that will do the machine work, total cost will be about $1,900. Doesn't count buying new ignition shielding.
Trans is only 185.

I'd rather restore parts than buy repos, just makes me feel better and buying all that stuff would double my parts costs.

Just for the parking brakes, unless the rotors need turned.

It takes quite a while to get the runout close, install the rotor, torque the wheel nuts, take a reading. Then do it again after rotating the rotor one or 2 studs. PIA.
