Sue's family gathering went off with nominal hitches. They've headed home. Only 2 people stayed with us for 2 nights. Others opted for hotels. Made for a quieter environment. Put some stuff away today, worked on the nursery lawnmower, worked on the fish pond at home. Put some more stuff away. Fed the critters. Watered plants. I'm done. Recliner here I come.

Planting day is coming up fast..... all hell is about to break loose.... tens of millions of fertile acres will have seeds applied to them. All of it using #2 Diesel.... Ruby Red in color to designate off road use... don't get caught putting any of that in your pickup or Semi's.....

Good morning Gris. Sunny here but chances of hail later. Typical Arkansas. Been yard working the last two days and nearly done, then we still like the back patio deep clean and to get lumber and enclose with screen. I hurt all over, 70 bags of mulch yesterday plus leaves and other mess, potting and junk the day before, planting stuff, tore down the greeenhouse, cleaned up stuff till dark. I'm bout to go find me some coffee and food and sit on my hiney all day. Same thing tomorrow. Stuff needs done but I'm shot.

Good Morning CGs!

This week has flown by so far.

Cold here, saw some snow the other day. I heard on the radio they were getting 8-10 inches out in Maine and that area. No thanks. Should warm up here next week and be in the 60s. Can't wait.

Hope everyone has a great day!

High wind warnings thru the weekend... oh joy! temps are ok though... bought some new tires for the 64... Uniroyal Tiger Paws.... I like those tires.... got them on the 56... these are bit wider..... the tires that were on it were Hankook's but were 12 years old... they looked perfect but still.... start fresh... also got a rebuild kit for the steering column connector.... that's like the rag joint on a GM product.. not much left of the old one.... the plan is coming together...

what are you guys doing for car stuff? do stuff Guru's

The guests are trickling into town. Dinner tonight at one of tghe largest malls in Florida, The Dolphin mall. They have plenty of restaurants to choose from so we'll go crash one of them. Just finished most of my chore list for today. Feedin the critters and then I plan on calling it a day. Want to make God laugh? Tell Him you have plans. LOL Tomorrow afternoon we'll have a gathering/memorial here at the house. More than enough seating.

good evening, sunny here and a tad warmer but cold tonight then we're back to spring. Plants can go back out and stay and I'm happy to have my spaces back. Mulch this weekend and whatever else I can squeeze in. Vette club meet tonight, one member has a new Viper so we all ooohed and aaahhed over that and left. Busy at the office as usual this time of year, not much to report

keep up the good fight Tommy.... we are getting all our plans together for our first cruise...

Nice day today with very little wind.... been working on the 64... think we got the flickering headlights figured out... got all the amp drains found and corrected.... only losing about half amp of drain when the lights are on....

also found the tail of the tranny is sitting on the crossmember... which would add not good vibrations to the chassis... slowly getting the car dialed in... got on the new sun visors...... progress....

try to keep up Guru's

Felling a lot like Cinderfella. Lately I've been thinking I work too damned much. At least it should make for an easy vacation transition in a couple and a half weeks from now. Many related tasks will be caught up. Of course there a couple of new issues that will add to the current workload. Never ending battle.

Yup, nice yards always win - you can do mine after you're done with yours. I had a whole pallet of mulch dropped off a week and a half early. My weekend plans have officially changed. Lumber comes the 12th for back patio screening. cold here today, blackberry winter, be glad when it's over. Windy like all get out too, sick of it. Finally home to rest my mind, been another crazy day. don't work too hard holding down the recliners this evening

SPRING TIME IN OKLAHOMA TOO, THE TORNADOES ARE IN BLOOM :-O

AND SO ARE OUR 'GLOW-IN-THE-DARK' DOGWOOD TREES. THE FLOWERS ARE SO WHITE THEY SEEM LUMINOUS. THE GOLDFINCHES ARE TURNING YELLOW. THE WEEDS ARE GETTING GREEN ON THE OBSTACLE COURSE. A BAD SIGN, THAT.

DARLING WIFE IS SELLING OUT HER INTEREST IN THE COLORADO WHITE ELEPHANT. GOOD RIDDANCE BY ME.

ALWAYS FORWARD, AMIGOS!

Good afternoon, sun is out here although we started with rain. I've not stopped at home all weekend and have about 2 more weekends of crap to do. I'm so sore I can hardly move, def overdid it. I get focused and just want to get done. Been beyond covered up at work too, and found out this morning we'll be partially wrapping 2 experimental planes, plus I have a deskfull of stuff already. I need a vaca like yesterday. As far as MJ being legal, it's not here, we have a backwards state, but you can order it offline and have it shipped legally anywhere. DUI is still DUI no matter tho, something a bunch of people here don't seem to understand. You go in stores and some people just reek of it.

The Florida Supreme Court approved the language on the legalization of marijuana for personal use to be on the ballot this November. I hope it passes because when Biden or Trump get an OK for four more years I think Floridians and everyone else in the nation, are gonna need to stay stoned for the next four years. Of course if you really want some Mary Jane it's readily available on the black market anyway.

Good Morning CGs!

Overcast and rainy here today again.

Tinkered with the Corvette a little last night. Haven't touched it in probably 8 weeks. Got the new gauge pillar installed and partially wired. It was a real pia since the boost gauge wire is just a little short. Made it but only by an inch or so. I'll get more done when I can.

Hope everyone has a great day!

NOT MUCH ON THE AGENDA TODAY, BOOK DUMP AT THE LIBRARY, GO SEE THE RECOMMENDED MECHANIC FOR JONAH.

DOG IS FED, CAT IS SCRATCHED AND PETTED, AND I HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR BACON AND EGGS BEFORE LONG.

Pray for our sinners. That's gonna take a whole lot of prayers. I confuse myself sometimes. Whatever happens on this planet is of little consequence as long as you trust and believe in God through His Son. "With the power of soul anything is possible."

April Fools! Two of them. One released a bible pack and the other celebrates trans people on Easter. And this is the world we live in today. I'm wondering if Jesus was walking the Earth today would he vote for Trump. I'm thinking of a write in vote for Olsteen. Now there's a guy who knows how to raise some money. Praise The Lord.

No shortage of fools around the world. As long as there are humans I don't believe there will ever be peace.

Good Morning CGs!

Happy Easter to all.

I was able to break out of the chains last week and we took a family trip for spring break. Loaded up the SUV and took a trip to Washington DC. We left late Friday afternoon and made it to Ohio before we stopped for the night. It was a good way to split up the drive. On Saturday we were able to take a more leisurely pace and include some breaks along the way before we reached the hotel in Virginia. The Hotel was nice, about 30 minutes outside of DC. I got some recommendations on here as to what city to stay in. We ended up in Tyson's Corner. Didn't do anything on Saturday evening except check out the mall and relax a bit. On Sunday we took the train into the city and went and saw some sights, went to see the cherry blossom trees (in bloom and festival time) and went to the Smithsonian American History Museum and Smithsonian Portrait Gallery. Walked around a bit and we were exhausted when we got back to the hotel. Took Jacob swimming and hit the sack. Monday we did the Holocaust Museum. I've been there before but it was 30 years ago. Not a lot of words can describe that place but highly recommended. We tried to get into a few other places but didn't have timed tickets so we walked around a while. Did stop by the National Law Enforcement Memorial before heading back. Tuesday we spent the whole day between Arlington Cemetery and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Virginia (they have two locations). Both great experiences. In he evening we met a friend of mine and his wife for dinner near the hotel. Always nice to do. Wednesday we drove straight home leaving early enough in the morning that we got home at a decent hour, about 7:30 pm.

Overall had a great time and spent good time with the kids.

Hope everyone has a great holiday!

According to the detective EBT will only release information in a criminal investigation, not a missing persons case. I got a response from a local news outlet and the reporter is interested in doing a story. Things could get complicated since the homeowner of where he was staying doesn't want his house to be on the news. I'll have to get with the reporter aand see what we can work out.
