ah, but when you get them rebuilt, you have valving options.

Andy is correct, the revalving of the rebuilt Bilsteins can make them much more of a race shock. I believe they are called Moracco valving, but that is on the FX3 shocks. It is a popular mod with the ZR1 guys.

Andy,
The receiver module is located in the dash on the '90,'91, and '92. It was moved to the rear cubby when the pass side air bag was introduced.

Couple of Questions Before I Start Install

Getting ready to sound deaden my C4 coupe, and install an amp and subs in place of the 6 x9’s in the rear, but I have a couple of questions.

I would like to install the amp (Arc Audio Kar 600.4) on the back wall by attaching a piece of ¾” plywood to the rear bulkhead w/ silicone, but I am afraid it will not hold, as the amp is heavy. Has anyone done this with good/bad results?

I want/need to sound deaden the car, as the noise from the tires is unbelievable at speed. I have a Crazy Cowboy kit for the car, but I know this will not be enough. I am going to use RaaMmat and Over Kill Pro on the doors . I am also considering lining the inside of the wheel wells w/ the RaaMmat. I will also do the inside of the hatch area w/ the RaaMmat and the Over Kill Pro. Do you think one roll of RaaMmat (62.5 sq ft) will be enough? The doors and inside the car come first, as I can do the wheel wells anytime.

Any comments, ideas, or tips welcome.

Randy

Problem seems to have changed. Spent some time this evening checking out whats working. No longer the roadside panic situation.

Now discovered that its misfiring on the 3rd cylinder on the left bank and the 3rd and 4th on the right bank.....so have 5 out of 8 working !!

Checked plugs and spark etc - all OK.

Cannot think that 3 injectors all decided to die at the same time.

Injector caps giving 12 volts with ignition on, engine not running.
Any thoughts, please.

This discription REALLY makes it sound like you have bad fuel injectors. Are you sure you ohm'ed them correctly?

I mistyped. I meant they don't sell it without the "y" pipe. I will probably run the dual setup with an x pipe. I need to find some different mufflers now. Back to my search.....

If you look at the Magnaflow mufflers for the '92 to '96 Corvettes, I believe that they are mufflers only.

Going to try and make it, got a graduation party the night before in NJ, so I'll try to figure it out this weekend.

If I was to replace the Black Tag and clutch, flywheel, etc
in my 92 to a blue tag would I need to order clutch, flywheel, and what other parts?
Would I just order parts as if I had a 94 instead of a 92?

Any issues changing to the blue tag?

In 2 years if I decide to have the black tag rebuilt what will I need to replace to swap the black tag back in?

Why am I asking?
2nd gear is a sometimes proposition and the clutch is starting to slip and I have over 100K on the original clutch. I can get a new blue tag for 1100 + shipping, just wondering if its worth it with all the changes that I don't know about.

Thanks in advance!

You could use the blue tag w/ no issues
