Howdy! Cold and windy today, but it was tolerable and windy yesterday, so we did manage to play golf. A bit challenging, since often herds of leaves would march across the green mid-putt. One of our guys brought a leaf blower. Gonna try to play again on Tuesday, weather permitting. Meanwhile, one week until vacation.

Enjoy your day, all!

Greetings! I was out picking up leaves with my riding mower yesterday afternoon, and the engine started burning oil badly- lovely. This is only the 3rd season on this engine - ridiculous. Hopefully I can limp through the rest of fall with it.

Matt, it gets worse ;-)

Have a good day, yawlz!

Hidey-ho! It's gonna be a beautiful fall day here, 68 and sunny. Perfect for golf. Sadly there is no golf on the agenda. But maybe tomorrow.

Matt, thanks for the reminder - I forgot to cancel the insurance on my Vette, will call them pronto!

Have a great day, Gurus!

Howdy! Despite a fairly stiff breeze, golf was reasonably pleasant last night. Lotsa leaves out there, though. Gonna try to play again on Friday - time is running out.

You'd need to put some playing cards in the wheel spokes to make vroom-vroom noise:

Greetings! It is supposed to be 51 and sunny, so we might attempt golf this afternoon - we'll see. Might have to pack a leaf blower.

Meanwhile, this looks like a mooooooving violation:

So far, I am not sorry I put my car away a little early. This is like the fall that wasn't.

Howdy! A friend left on Saturday to spend a few days in Arizona. Good timing, what with the little blast of snow yesterday, and the 18 degree wind chill this morning. There are rumors of an impending return to normal fall weather - we shall see.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Greetings! I slept in, of course, and when I came downstairs I had to rub my eyes when I looked out the window - it is snowing. Ick. Fortunately it won't last, but still.......Ick.

Have a snow-free day, Gurus!

Howdy! I have some quick yard work on the agenda. Then, a friend has some VIP tickets to Surlyfest, so a bunch of us are going down there. We'll take an Uber ;-)

Bon voyage, Tommy!

What Adams products are you using, Marcus? I've been working on buffing out my truck and waxing it - poor thing sat outside all summer.

Hidey-ho! Since it is currently 31, 40 does not sound bad. There are rumors of an appearance by the sun today, we shall see. I hope it dries out today, since I have a huge mess of leaves to clean up. And there will be plenty more to take their place.

Have a good day, all!

Howdy! Blustery here, good day to be indoors.

Much mojo for you and your Mrs., Mike! Hope you get good news on all fronts soon.

Awfully nice of them to open up for you, Tom - I'll bet that was fun!

Have a good day, all!

Greetings! I hear a familiar sound - the pitter-patter of raindrops. I am personally quite sick of that sound.

Mojo to all in the path of the hurricane. At least we don't get those here.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Hidey-ho! Every year we get a handful of days where you step outside and think, "How could it possibly be any nicer out!" Today is NOT one of those days. It is a balmy 47 and rainy, and it might get up to 51. Plans for golf later are not looking good at all.

Tom and Marcus, behave yourselves!

Happy Birthday, Andy!

Enjoy your day, yawlz!

Howdy! It was gloomy all weekend, now it is gloomy with rain, tomorrow is supposed to be gloomy with heavy rain and flooding, and Wednesday's forecast is gloom with more rain. My solar lights.....don't. This is getting downright ridiculous.

Have a bright and cheery day, all! ;-)

I'll bet that was a good show, Tom - they were a staple of the soundtrack of our youth, good stuff.

Changed oil on both the truck and my wife's RDX, and tidied up the engine compartments. I still have to throw some rear shocks on the RDX, that'll wait for another day. And I need to buff out the truck and wax it.

Greetings! Another gloomy-looking day out there. Yesterday the sun made an appearance for about 30 seconds. Got a lot done yesterday, though - all the patio stuff is put away or covered up. Now I need to knuckle down and get some vehicle maintenance chores off my list. I am sure that will make my knuckles sore.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Hidey-ho! I made a mediocre attempt at sleeping in. I can do much better. Meanwhile, this fall continues to suck - if it isn't raining, it's in the 40's. Another 20 degrees would be most welcome. Anyway, I'll have to knock off some more chores while it is quasi-dry.

LMAO @ TP vid - I don't recall that it has ever happened to me, but on a couple occasions I've had a dryer sheet sticking out of the bottom of a pants leg - very smooth.

Have a good day, all!

I have Spectrum (which was formerly Charter) for internet. They somehow locked down the territory in our town. I can't complain too much though, they've always been pretty good. They recently upgraded us to 200 megabit speed. We don't have fiber optic yet.

Happy Friday! Well I'm pretty sure it is Friday, since I put the garbage out. And it was dark, dreary and drizzly when I did it. Ick.

Speaking of fifths, gotta pick up some Knob Creek to bring along when we go up north later this month.

Welcome to the cord-cutting club, Marcus! Hulu Live has been working well for us - a glitch here and there, but overall very good. I haven't missed cable or the landline at all, and it's been 6.5 months.

Have a good day, all!

Howdy! Golf was dry, but not particularly warm or skillfully played. Gonna need a miner's helmet pretty soon, it is getting dark early. It's supposed to be in the upper 70's today, but that will bring in some storms, and then back to pfffffffffffffffft. We could use a little Indian Summer here.

Have a good day, all!

Hidey-ho! A little gloomy, but it's supposed to be 60 and dry, so golf should be OK. Meanwhile, my battery memory saver cable came yesterday, so I was able to swap a new battery into my truck last night. Worked very well:

Hidey-ho! The battery in my truck crapped out - the truck sits a lot now that I'm telecommuting. But the battery is 4 years old and has exhibited this behavior before, so it is time. There is likely some parasitic loss, maybe from the remote start gizmo. Meanwhile, I charged it up, and ordered a battery memory saver cable so I can keep the radio settings, etc. when I swap in the new one. It's always something.

Have a good day, all!

Howdy! I slept in, and before I had 2 sips of coffee, got sucked into a work conference call. Not exactly what I had planned. Meanwhile, I think the Vette will go into hibernation tomorrow.

There are apps for that, Tommy - Thumbtack is one ;)

Howdy! Glad I brought my succulent plants into the garage last night - in the middle of the night, my wife's phone got a "Freeze warning detected in your area" notification. The end is near.

Hidey-ho! After a taste of sunshine yesterday, we are back to semi-gloom. Hope the Viqueens don't add to it tonight. Meanwhile, since October is almost here, I really need to get cracking on fall chores.

Howdy! We actually got to play golf yesterday - the rain quit just in time, and the sun actually came out for a few holes. It was a tad chilly though - low 50's. But we can't play in January, so it is what it is. There were a couple trees down on the course from the last storm, but I managed to find other ones to hit.

Have a good day, all!

Greetings! Sunny for now, supposed to get into the 70's today. Tomorrow does not sound particularly delightful for golf - 58 and rain. We shall see. Meanwhile, I may put the Vette away next weekend. It's hardly been driven this year, and I've done nothing to it.

Have a good day, all!

Hidey-ho! Nice and sunny out, and it is supposed to make it to the low 70's. I may make it to the low 70's someday myself. Meanwhile, there is football to be watched this afternoon, followed by chores of some sort.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Hidey-ho! I slept in REAL good, since I will need to be at full-strength to do battle with the jungle that is my lawn.

Have fun, Gurus!

We enjoyed the LED Zeppelin tribute show - the band is called "Get the LED Out", they did a great job.

Howdy! It is a good day for a sweatshirt - gonna be a balmy 57 and windy. Ick. But the rain has ceased, so that is good. I think we got around 5 inches yesterday. Meanwhile, we're going to see a Led Zeppelin tribute band tonight.

Safe travels, Tom! Probably easy to find the "high" road there ;-)

Have a good day, all!

Greetings! Dark, dreary and wet here again. Rumor has it that this crap may finally blow out of here tomorrow. We shall see.

Congrats on the license plate, Marcus - very cool!

Great job on the tile, Matt!

Have a good day, yawlz!

Howdy! Gloomy out there today, but I'm stuck indoors so it doesn't matter, we have these light thingies. We actually did get to play golf yesterday afternoon - the course was pretty soggy, but we didn't get rained on. As for the golf itself, it was mediocre at best.

Have a good day, all!

Howdy! Been busy since the git-go - the day is disappearing at a rapid pace. We got rained out after 6 holes yesterday, and today is not looking particularly promising for golf, either.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Greetings! Looks like the rain may hold off until we're done playing golf today - we shall see. No biggie, I have a rain suit and know how to use it.

Happy anniversary, Matt!

Enjoy your day, Gurus!
