Cold and severe clear this AM. 14 degrees I think. I got the Duramax ready last night by putting in some 50/50 blend and then adding some Power Service supplement and a dash of 911 supplement. I have had several times where it's jelled up on me and that is no fun at all. This is the combo I have come up with that is good to -40 below. I think it is anyway, truck started up and ran great. Haven't seen 40 below since Montana, that's when you spit and it freezes before it hits the ground.

Brad should know about that, but not Tommy.

It was funny that the car was originally in Montana and when I said I had people there and I was from Neb all of a sudden the car is in New York. When I told them I had people there to look at it they sent back a short note saying that they needed my name address and phone #. to get the ball rolling with Yahoo Finance. Is there even a yahoo finance?

I wish there was some internet cops that could play this thing out and maybe get these guys. I have gone as far as I want to go with it.

I found this 64 on the internet and it had a riduculas price on it but the add said the car was from a town in Montana that we used to live in. I have a cousin that lives in that town and I was going to have him check it out.
This is the emails I have recieved at this time. The car is perfect and I will try to post the pics she sent. If it is a scam I'd like to nail the bastards but don't know how to go about that. Woke up this morning uneasy, partly due to the outcome of the Husker game last night. We now know who the 12th man is, he's wearing a striped shirt and a white hat! We could have won anyway but didn't. Went downstairs to let the dog out of his kennel and stepped into 2 inches of water all over the basement.

So for the next 4 hours we with the help of 2 shop vacs and a sump pump to empty them with got the mess cleaned up.

What happened you say? Seems while winterizing the ourdoor faucets I opened the one on the deck to which the water supply had been shut off! I knew this because no water came out. Until the ice melted in the line under the deck and the water started to run all night and finally backed up in the window well and into the basement. Nuts!

We are on our own well and while winterizing the lawn sprinklers I thought I'd shut off the water to the ourdoor faucets. Remind me to check that next time.

I don't know! Somewhere common sense needs to be considered. We don't fly much and when we do it is out of the Midwest into Florida or California. We think security is a hassel but realize that without it the masses will not fly and we all know what happens to several industries when that happens.

Now if someone is going to touch me or mine I won't be very happy but we have not come up against that yet, so decisions would have to be made. I do know that there has not been a lot of airplanes blown up since security has been implemented. Something must be working.

If it's pissing you off, which we should all be concerned when our rights are being pushed, then you write the airlines and your gov't reps and if enough folks do that then the TSA will back off. That's how we roll in this great country of ours.

How can you call it deflation when things were way overpriced to begin with? It's just going back to where it should be.

You can't spend more then you make for very long. Families know this, and so should the Gov't. We live in an economy that needs massive overspending to make it work, that is not a good thing.

What I have learned over the years is to stay out of debt on the small stuff like credit cards or home equity loans. Then pay down on your big debts as fast as you can. Also rat hole money away in something secure (if there is such a thing) When times get tough the ones that do this should be able to sleep better.

I didn't like the transformer Vette much either. Can't remember what they called it. I also didn't like the movies that much.

Do you think the Corsas would work the same on an L98? Also if you have enough money to do the intake side or the exhaust but not both which one would you choose?

Reading in this months Motor Trend they are reporting that the new design for the C7 has been completed after a two design in house competition. Like the C6 that evolved from the C5 this 2013 or 14 car will be an evolutionary update of the C6. They call it a C6.5.

They are having problems with figuring how to have cylinder deactivation in the V8 when the tranny is rear mounted. They say they need to do that to meet the post 2016 fuel economy standards.

I also heard that they are going to use a 5.5 liter direct inject engine which I think is what the GT2 C6.R racing Vettes are using this year. Interesting stuff. Hope the interiors are going to have more options.

Out here in the Heartlands we never saw the upheaval that the other more fashionable areas did. In fact with the good prices for crops we have seen many new homes being built in our area.

Having been in home construction early on in my life I got to know how the cost of building a house worked. The cement and 2 X 6's and shingles only cost so much, add to that the labor and what the lot costs then you have a real time price.

That doesn't work on the west coast or other parts of the country where a lot of folks live and were seeing those costs inflated by X amounts and still people were throwing money at them. 2 or 300K buys a real nice place out here but not much in L.A. Of course we have snow and cold and lots of heat and humidity.

Good Morning! Glad you had a good night out Matt, sometimes you need a break from the little darlings. We try and schedule it on a regular basis.

Took the Vette into Lincoln for the Husker game last night. It was clear and in the 30's. I got some waves and thumbs up from folks. I had a Blackshirts flag flying and the car all shined up. It seemed to be stiffer and tended to wander on the road more then when it is warm out. I have to put it away soon but hate to. You drive all year guys don't know how good you have it!

The Huskers won but they didn't come close to the spread. 35 points I think. Final was 20 to 3. Next week Texas A&M. Enjoy you day!

Rough neighborhood! Since they were not after you or did not mess you up other than piss you off and scare the crap out of you, I'd let it ride. I would not take money or any thing else they offer. Just say lets forget it and move on. The farther from those jerks you can get the better.

What I would do is light up your roomy and move him on down the road! He is going to end up dead some night and you don't want to be in the room when it happens. You can't live with the pigs without getting shit on you. A weapon would have only been advised if they were there to rob burn and distroy you or your place. To try and shoot them for what they did to your idiot roommate would have only led to problems you don't even want to know about. Just saying.
