Well I took yesterday off. Campground opened for the season. We spent yesterday getting rid of the leaves and opening the camper up. Today we just relaxed and discussed what we have yet to do for our site. It's beautiful here so far temps in the mid 70's and a lite breeze.

A 57 would be a nice addition to your stable Tommy.

Nice here today in N.W. Indiana. Hit 66 here at the house. It felt great to get out of the house for a bit.

I love my weather techs. Got them in the car and the truck.

That is very talented of Rosie to be able to make a dress like that.

With the weather being so nice the Mrs and I have got the bug to go camping but the campground isn't open till April.

The museum is great. Been there twice. Need to get the factory tour next I go.

We made the trip to Arkansas this year. We all went to church and are going to have Prime Rib for dinner. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. If traveling have safe travels and God bless everyone.

I remember I was at work and hearing something about it. I had to go to one of the news web site to some info. The rest of that day was shot didn't get much done either.

Well we're on vacation. Today we're in NW Jew Jersey. We'll be here a few days. Going to see the Statue of Liberty tomorrow and tonight the Freedom Tower. New truck pulls our camper just fine. It's a lot more comfortable than the old one.

Glad everyone had a good day. We went to see Peter Frampton last night. The Mrs and I had a great time. He put on an incredible show. 2+ hrs. and no opening act. Looks like the heat and humidity is coming back this week here too.

We are looking forward to the end of next week. We start vacation. First stop is going to be the Statue of Liberty. After that it's off to New England. No set plans just go camp and enjoy ourselves.

Been hot here lately. We had asked for a gutter on the garage to be installed. We weren't expecting it so it was a nice surprise. I own the trailer but not the garage. So the maintenance guys show up, Mutt & Jeff, and put the gutter up. I went to put a splash block under the down spout and found out they just stuffed the down spout in without any support. They didn't put the hole for the down spout in correctly either. They cut an X for the hole and had the spout attached to just two of the tabs. Flimsy as all hell.
So today I put the proper down spout outlet and braces on.

I just don't like it when people just don't care to a job right or pride in their work.

I also put 3 LED shop lights in the garage. One over my workbench and two hanging in the front. Picked them up for $40 a piece. Have a good evening gang.

The lord felt I didn't need to sleep an extra half hour. Thunderstorms rolled through at 4 am. We went to see Heart, Joan Jett, and Cheap Trick last night and that was a great show. Looks like today here in N.E. Indiana is going to be sunny with temps in the mid 80's and humidity to boot.

We to our son home today from the campground and the caddy threw a stabilitrack, traction control and brake system error. I think it is one of the wheel hub sensor that went bad. We had one replace already on the left rear.

I'll have to get the code reader on Tuesday when I go to work.

Been quiet here lately and that is a good thing. We've been spending more time at the campground than at the house. It was a bitter sweet day yesterday. I sold the Vette. It went to a good home. The person was supper happy he finally got one. I didn't want to get rid of it but it had to be done. WE WILL get another just not right away. Well we made it to July. Half the yr done and half to go. I wonder where the time has gone this yr.

We have vacation coming up in just over a month. First one we've had in about 5 yrs and we are looking forward it. This yr we're going to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Then we're off to New England and back through upstate N.Y. Should take about 3 weeks.

Woke up to snow on the ground. Cold here temps in the low 30's. We lost some shingles on the garage yesterday. One of the shingles when it blew off hit the house and took my outside outlet off. It should warm up to the 50's with sunshine.

Not much happening today. We're going to do some shopping then just relax. I'll fix the outlet tomorrow after work.

Been quiet here. Been a while since last posted. Here's a bit of catch up. Been a year with new company and things are going good. Also with a pay raise over the old company we've been able to catch up and get ahead on some bills. So we treated ourselves to a new car in November and a new truck last week.

New truck is a 2013 GMC Sierra 3500HD. Traded the Ford in and got a fair deal on it. Hopefully I'll be able to post some more and keep more involved.

Works fine for me.

First off We're back. Good to see the site up again.

It's cold here in NE Indiana temps cool 28. Looks like a nice day here with plenty of sun and temps in the upper 30's low 40's.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Happy belated Thanksgiving to all.

We went to visit my parents and brother. Left last Friday and got home late yesterday. We put 1487 mi on the caddy and it ran great. Very comfortable to ride and great car to drive. Only hiccup we had was on the way home. Traction control and ABS lamp came on at the same time. Did some research and it looks like we have a bad sensor. Not going to complain to much, with 95,601 miles on it there are bound to be things that just break. So we'll get the codes read or find a way to pull them ourselves and see what's wrong.

Next tool to buy is a code reader for OBDII cars. looks like a new tool aholics entry in the future.

Been awhile since I checked in. Hope everyone is doing fine.

Like Matt we completed a couple of projects while it was warm this week. We caulked the windows put the mower away and got the snowblower out.

In the process of caulking windows I found some dry rot and had to fix that.

Yesterday we bought a new car. It's a 2008 Cadillac CTS4 Crystal red tintcoat. It has 93K on the clock. So far we like it very much. Mrs captmike enjoyed the drive home from Indy yesterday.

When it warms up I'll get some pics and post later.

Definitely sounds like a fuel pump. Not to hard to replace on the C4. should take about and hour or two.

Was warm and humid today. Worked in the garage and started filling up the new cabinet spaces. I need to totally empty the tool boxes and put things back in a more organized manner.
