Ok, I’ve had a low-grade headache and body-aches since getting up, nothing bad just a nagging achy-ness, and my shoulder is a bit tender. I’m sure it’s a side effect of the vaccine. Rosie had a low-grade fever last night with chills, but hers are gone today. I guess those who have had C19 and then get the vaccine are getting these types of symptoms....some worse. Supposedly the second one is less symptomatic. I guess we’ll see about that in a month or so.

Many get some side effects from the shot, whether they've actually gotten the bug or not—we had to provision for that with our daily attestation app. Which shot leads to the most side effects depends on which vaccine is being used.

I'm hoping to experience this for myself before my birthday comes around in May—we'll see.

Matt, sorry for the back pain. My sciatic was fixed by my physical therapist. There are some very easy and simple things you can do to get it back in place. Whatever you do, do not cross your legs to alleviate as it actually makes it worse. lay on back with knees bent and let the affected side's knee drop to the side to stretch, also hang that one off edge of bed or something to stretch. Do bridges and hold 5 count on each one for a total of 10 bridges. squats, slow, no weight and side leg raises will also help do it. That's what they had me do, and after second day I was back walking and pain free and prevously stove up for couple of years, chiro didn't help at all. Prayers you feel better.

The back is a very poor design—as bad as the knees.

I have filled some of the void with trips to the casino but it is by no means the same. There is something about cruising that keeps luring me back. Discovering places I've never been. Not having to cook, clean or work. Eating a variety of foods. And most important. Turning off the phone. You don't know what you've got till it's gone.

Hang in there, Tom. We're still hoping to take Ivelis' deferred 50th birthday cruise next January. Agreed about turning off the phone.

Following the pit stop, the #3 Corvette has a lot of trouble refiring. They finally get going, but that's a big bowl of not good. At least it was under yellow.

And than the #3 gets penalized for pssing cars in the pit commit area …

Four hours to go.

DPi: still Acura #10, Cadillac #48, Acura #60

LMP2: now Oreca #18 (6th overall), Oreca #8, Oreca #82

43 of the original 49 cars are still in it by my criteria. The Corvettes continue to lead, but it is far from a comfortable one.

You are correct—this is the last year for GTLM. The replacement class for 2022 will be GTD Pro—like the GTD cars, but with all pro drivers and (likely) some more power.

This change is likely a good thing, as GTD cars conform to the FIA GT3 specification and thus translate easily to the many cars and marques they run in Europe. It's little known, but Corvette Racing has to make a laundry list of changes to the cars when they take them to Le Mans every year. In 2022, they'll probably only need to change the numbers and add some decals.

Good morning, all.

They're predicting 10 to 15 inches of snow in the area over the next two days, which is a lot for us. I took a break from my Rolex coverage ( ) to make my regularly scheduled grocery run and (as expected) it was bonkers.

Gris, with a name like Mulhern I get the references.
